Ophthalmic Technician Opening: Full-Time
Our friendly eye office is located in southeast Longmont, with an ophthalmologist, an optometrist, and an optical shop. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, people-oriented person to help our doctors with record-keeping and testing.
Escorts patients to exam rooms, performs initial exams and various testing procedures, transcribes information to EMR, ensures exam room readiness, calls in prescriptions/returns patient calls, assists with in-office procedures, and supports front office/optician as needed.
Knowledge of medical assisting and medical terminology; previous experience in ophthalmic medical practice; COT/COA certification beneficial but not compulsory. Multi-tasking in a busy environment, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Computer EMR Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Courteous and Effective Communication.
